One thing you should know about me is - I looooove country music. Which I actually believe has a LOT to do with photography. A lot of my style and drive are influenced by the emotion that I've seen conveyed in country music videos. When I was little it was a dream of mine to film and direct award winning country music videos. I used to imagine myself standing on a CMA stage with best music video of the year giving out all of my thank yous. While those dreams have grown and changed over time, i'm still heavily influenced by what's going on in the Nashville space. I'm still always listening to the "New Boots" playlist on Spotify, checking my release radar every Friday morning, and attending concerts when I get the chance. I love how music can store memories and help you appreciate a moment differently. I love music with meaning - and that's why I might ask you what your first dance song choice is long before you have it picked out. It's my absolute favorite part of a wedding day and I love what I can learn about a couple from what they choose. :)

(Ryan and I chose "Then Again" by Dan + Shay and that can tell you a lot about the two of us and how thankful we are for all that led us to where we are today and for the life we're creating together... because our story is CRAZY)

A little bit about us currently - Ryan (my husband + second photographer) and I live in Eau Claire, WI which is really meaningful for us because it's where we actually met! We both swam in college at UWEC. He was a distance flyer (oof) while I was a sprint freestyler. While this is where we live now, he's originally from the Lakeville, MN area and i'm from Madison, WI. When we're not working, we try our best to get outside and stay active with friends and family. We're lucky to have people spread out across the states. So you'll likely see us traveling to Alaska, New Mexico, and Nebraska frequently to make the rounds and visit some of our favorite people. :)
